Labour puts forward Danny Beales as Parliamentary candidate

Uxbridge and South Ruislip Constituency Labour Party have selected Danny Beales to fight the next Parliamentary Election.

Uxbridge and South Ruislip Conservatives have just re-selected Boris Johnson.

David Williams, Chair of Uxbridge and South Ruislip Constituency Labour Party said:
“Boris Johnson resigned as Prime Minister when dozens of his Ministers and MPs refused to work with him. Our community deserves better. Labour will offer Danny Beales, who can restore trust in political leadership and send a clear message that we do not want a Conservative MP. Danny Beales’ commitments are as follows:

1. Fight for better public services including the funding needed to finally deliver a new Hillingdon Hospital
2. A strong and fairer economy, to tackle the cost-of-living crisis
3. Champion local businesses and the self-employed who have been forgotten
4. Ensure we have more local police and make local streets safer
5. Be a full-time local MP.

Danny Beales has never been investigated for breach of the principles relating to Public Life established by Lord Nolan. Lord Nolan was asked to report to the then Conservative Prime Minister, John Major, after multiple allegations of sleaze amongst Conservative MPs.”

Information should not be withheld from the public unless there are clear and lawful reasons for so doing. 6 Honesty- Holders of public office should be truthful. 7 Leadership – Holders of public office should exhibit these principles in their own behaviour and treat others with respect. They should actively promote and robustly support the principles and challenge poor behaviour wherever it occurs.
